The challenge

To demonstrate and drive sales of key Motorola handsets in a range of retail environments including Vodafone, 02, Car Phone Warehouse, Orange, The Link and P4U.

i2i faces were briefed to supply staff who not only had excellent product knowledge but who also had the ability and adaptability to work as a team with permanent sales staff across a variety of mobile phone outlets.

The solution

All demonstrators attended full-day, interactive workshops to gain extensive product knowledge and demonstration experience.

Training also included live role plays to ensure competency in the field.

In store incentives were put in place to encourage both consumer uptake and cooperation from store sales staff.

i2i faces developed a bespoke interactive website for the client to monitor campaign results and individual performances. Data was analysed with continuous improvements made during the campaign.

Regularly achieved 200% uplift across all retail groups, whilst building a positive relationship between Motorola and permanent in-store sales staff.
